Dipan Patel is a senior aviation operations executive with over 20 years of leadership
experience (approximately 2003–2024) within Fortune 100 airline organizations, including American Airlines and Envoy Air. He served in progressively senior roles, including multiple years as General Manager, with responsibility for managing complex airport environments while sustaining safe, compliant, and uninterrupted live operations.

During his tenure with American Airlines and Envoy Air, Patel was accountable for end-to- end airport operations, including workforce leadership, operational readiness, safety and regulatory compliance, customer service performance, and coordination with airport authorities and airline partners. He managed operations across multiple airports and states, navigating diverse regulatory frameworks and labor environments while maintaining consistent performance standards.

Patel is particularly recognized for leading airport development, transition, and commissioning programs, including terminal start-ups, facility expansions, airline relocations, and operational handovers. He played a key role in executing operational readiness and airport transfer (ORAT) activities, ensuring personnel, processes, and facilities were brought online safely and efficiently without disruption to live flight operations.

Throughout his career, Patel drove process improvement initiatives that strengthened operational reliability, on-time performance, cost control, and workforce effectiveness. A steady, execution-focused leader, he is known for reinforcing strong safety cultures that protect both people and aircraft in highly regulated environments.
