Maintenance Advisor Kevin Mitchell Advisors (KMA)

Ed Onwe is a senior operations and transformation advisor with more than 25 years of experience supporting complex manufacturing, sustainment, and service organizations across regulated, mission-critical environments. As a member of the Kevin Mitchell Advisors (KMA) Advisory Team, he supports governments, enterprises, and investment partners in strengthening execution capability, operational governance, and workforce readiness.

Onwe has held senior executive leadership roles including President of the Board, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President / General Manager, and Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering at ST Engineering, where he led multi-site international organizations and delivered measurable improvements in safety, quality, reliability, and service performance.

At Boeing Global Services, he served as Vice President of Sustainment, Standardization C Transformation and Senior Site Executive, with responsibility for operational execution, enterprise standardization, and workforce readiness across complex commercial and military programs. His leadership improved safety and quality outcomes, strengthened delivery performance, and accelerated the adoption of standardized operating models and technology-enabled processes.

Within KMA, Onwe advises sovereign governments, public authorities, and industry partners on manufacturing and MRO capability development, workforce training systems, operational readiness, and execution assurance. He is recognized for his disciplined, pragmatic approach and his ability to work effectively across cultures to deliver sustainable, locally enabled capability and long- term performance improvement.
